There are a range of discount cards available to families and young people with additional needs and disabilities.
MAX Card
The Max Card scheme gives children, their carers and other family members free or discounted access to some of the most exciting attractions across the UK. The scheme is designed to help parents and carers of disabled children and looked after children save money on great days out at castles, zoos, museums and more.
Receive a free max card when signing up to the FIS Newsletter. The newsletter is for parents and carers of children aged 0 to 19 (or up to 25 years if the child/young person has a disability or additional need), who live in York. By confirming your child's disability or additional need you will automatically receive the Max Card and be added to the City of York Council's disabled register. You will receive regular newsletters and information relating to disability and additional needs in York.

Renew your MAX Card
If you're a city of York resident and your membership has expired, or you have misplaced your Max Card, you can apply online to renew your Max Card.
CEA Card
The CEA Card is a national card scheme developed for UK cinemas by the UK Cinema Association (UKCA).
The Card enables a disabled cinema guest to receive a complimentary ticket for someone to go with them when they visit a participating cinema.
To apply for the card, you will need to meet one or more of the following criteria:
a) be in receipt of the disability living allowance or attendance allowance.
b) be a registered blind person.

York Carers Discount Card
York Carers Centre have a free discount card for carers in York. The card gives the holder discount at a variety of shops, gyms, restaurants and other services. Discounts vary but range between approximately 10% and 30% off. To get the card all you need to do is register with York Carers Centre.
